DIY Hand Painted Decorative Wine Glass. Fun & Funky!

What girl  woman wouldn't LOVE one of these?! They are so much fun to make and super easy.

Supplies Needed:
-Wine glass (RUN to your local Hobby Lobby/Target/Walmart/Wherever Sells Wine Glass store
-Paint pens. These babies are good for SO many projects
-Feather Boa (again, Hobby Lobby). You can use one boa for multiple glasses
-Hot Glue

*************
Steps:
1-Clean & dry glass
2-Go to town decorating with your pens (for this one, I just copied the letter 'A' in Curlz font. If you've got a bit of a shaky hand, there are many stencils you can use to apply lettering. OR you can even use Scrapbook Stickers or Vinyl! It's your glass, decorate as you please!
3-Place the boa around the base of the glass, measuring how much you'll need (it's best to measure a little too much and then trim down than to underestimate and not have enough. Been there.)
4-Hot glue the boa down. Be generous with the amount of glue you use. If you're worried about the glue appearance underneath the glass, you could always Mod Podge some scrap book paper to it and write a personal note to the glass recipient.
5-Admire your work (this is the best step of all)

*Please note that this glass is for decorative purposes only. I wouldn't want to run a feather boa through my dishwasher..lol. I'd LOVE to see pictures!

DIY Painted Glass. Grab your paint pens!

Painting glass is so easy and FUN for all (except those who have butterfingers and tend to drop things..heh)

All you need is:
Clean glass *you don't want to paint over anything old & funky*
Paint Pens
Embellishments
Adhesive if you use embellishments

Steps
1-Clean glass
2-Open Pens (keep pens away from clothes--I'm here to tell ya it will STAIN)
3-Create!!
4-Allow to dry

I have only done these for decorative purposes.. I've yet to find a good sealer that would allow me to paint and then (a) wash in the dishwasher (b) not cause a cloudy/smudgy look (c) totally ruin the creation I was so proud of. If y'all find something good, puh-LEASE let me know what you've used.

The link below shows some of the different things I've done.
Have fun & be creative!!
